I’ve been working on designing some Waffles stuffies to go along with the books and I think I’ve finally figured it out! It’s pretty pricey to get these things manufactured so I’ve decided to go the handmade route. A fellow maker (2nd Story Studios) gave me a crash course in sewing and introduced me to a fabric printing company called Spoonflower that prints your own designs on fabric. I then created a Waffles design based off my illustrations from the books and picked a size that would fit a roll of fabric. Once I got the fabric I cut out the design and began sewing. Not too bad once you get the hang of it:).
